The Glen Gives Mission Statement
Our mission is to assist Central Oregon families who are experiencing short-term financial difficulties, and have demonstrated a willingness to help themselves, achieve financial self-sufficiency and increased family stability.
Giving and Providing
Not only are we helping our Central Oregon neighbors in need, we are also building your own neighbor connections within our immediate community. Many of our social fundraising activities are a joy, including galas, dinner events, and even parties like the Monster Mash. Keep an eye on our activities calendar for your next opportunity to join in the fun of giving.

Italian Dinner Party Dining and Providing
A supportive family from Glen Gives graciously opened their home to host a splendid dinner for 40 generous guests. This delightful gathering fostered a sense of community, uniting neighbors over exquisite food and meaningful connections. The event was truly special.

Monster Mash Scary Fun Giving
The Halloween spirit inspired a generous atmosphere among Glen Gives supporters. The costume dance party event contributed to helping numerous families through donations, raffles, and sponsorships.

Roaring 20’s Party
20th Anniversary Gala and Charity Auction raised of $70,000 to help Central Oregon families out of homelessness and supporting continued employment for family stability.

100 + Women Who Care Central Oregon
Funds are raised through individual donations, grants, foundations and charity events. 100% of donations and event proceeds are used to assist families.

What We Have Given
Glen Gives was established in 2004 with the mission of supporting families in our community during challenging times, offering assistance when health issues, financial struggles, and other life surprises become too much to bear. By fostering opportunity and stability for families over the long term, we have also played a role in enhancing the overall strength of the Central Oregon community.​​​

In 2024 The Glen Gives helped local families:

Avoid homelessness
- 59 payments for rent or mortgage

2 families in immediate danger of homelessness with emergency rental payment

4 families with rental deposits.

1 family with 3 young children living in a tent with the purchase of a used trailer.
Create a stable environment for children
- 8 families with utilities assistance

2 families with help for food and clothing

4 families with major home appliances

6 families with medical/dental bills
Assistance to Continue to Work
- 16 families with car repairs, tires or car payments
